latest animatic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Et1g0fDq8g changes to be made are:- - 2 eyes peering from behind foliage instead of one to introduce the character more clearly, and so the audience instantly sees it as eyes. - the shot before the mother hugs the daughter needs to be one shot as the camera is too choppy - the pendant needs to be more of a big deal to really push home that the daughter is rejecting a tradition for love, therefore i will make the chapel scene where the mother gives the daughter the pendant more ceremonious and more of a big deal and the background will be more dramatic. the next bit where attention is drawn to the pendant is when the daughter is about to kiss the male for the first time, she looks down at pendant, unsure, but then goes ahead and kisses male. lastly, when she throws down the pendant it will be more dramatic and also she wont slap her mother. this is so the audience know she leaving the tradition and her mother behind as i was worried if i got rid of the pendant all together the audience may not register the idea that it is about love triumphing over tradition and may see it more as the daughter hating her crazy murdering mother. - the noises that i have used for the praying mantises will vary more in pitch, volume, and timbre depending on each character and emotion. - the music will be changed in order to accentuate the emotion of each scene. so next time i upload an animatic hopefully it will include most of these changes and backgrounds, lighting etc. i am starting keys but am unsure how much i can get done before hand in.
